Britt McCarthy grew up in Perth, Western Australia, although she spent much of her childhood in worlds of her own making. Her work has featured in anthologies by Bowen Street Press and Night Parrot Press, and she was a Commended entrant in the 2025 KSP Short Fiction Competition.

Britt signed with TBA Literary in December 2025. Her longform stories offer a fun and feisty blend of romance and suspense. She is currently working on two novel manuscripts and has a forthcoming novella (due for publication in late 2026).

When she’s not working or writing, Britt loves to lose herself in books, TV and movies. (An oft shared past-time with her husband and best girl, a very affectionate German Shepherd called Ellie.)
